Highlights for September:

Imagination Squared •  MOCA Jacksonville
Presents the "Creative Response Experiment:  Imagination Squared" created by Christine Foard and Dolf James.  View this community art work by more than 900 local artists. 

Art in All Shapes • Salon Jacksonville
Experience art in all shapes ranging from 2-D paintings, photography and video series to 3-D sculptures, jewelry and live musical performances.

Raise Your Glass • Southlight Gallery
Raise your glass to Imagination Squared!  Celebrate with 25 local artists, including artist of the month, Kathy Stark.

Aviation Takes Shape • The Carling
Hosts the Jacksonville Aviation Authority exhibit chronicling the history of aviation taking shape in our city.

Sandcastle Competition The Jacksonville Landing
Put your creativity to the test in a sandcastle competition beginning at 7 p.m.

Kids Create Your Own Pizza Northstar Substation
Kids can create their own pizza art using shapes.  Enjoy local art by Jamie Houser and Sarah McManus.

About Art Walk

New to Art Walk?  We suggest you begin in Hemming Plaza.  Stop by our information kiosk at the corner of Monroe and Laura streets for an event flyer or download one ahead of time above.  Event flyers are also available at each participating venue.  Downtown Ambassadors in orange shirts and pith helmets are available throughout Downtown to provide directions and answer questions.

Parking:  Street parking is FREE after 6 p.m. and the Downtown Garage on the corner of Adams and Clay offers FREE parking Art Walk night.  Enter on Clay Street.  Thank you Republic Parking!

Hours:  5-9 p.m.  Some venues close at 8 p.m.  Some stay open late.

Rules:  Have fun.  Support your local artists.  And please keep alcoholic beverages on venue premises.
