BACKGROUND:
In January, Downtown Vision’s Board of Directors announced plans to contract with Service Group Inc. (SGI) to leverage best practices from across the country to elevate the level of clean and safe services provided by Downtown Vision, Inc. (DVI) for Downtown. SGI is a nationally-recognized company that manages clean and safe programs for 21 other Downtown Improvement Districts across the country. The decision brought both the Downtown Ambassador and Downtown Clean Team programs under one highly-qualified management roof. SGI will ensure that the two programs are integrated and leverage resources to deliver better, more coordinated and cost-effective services tailored to Downtown Jacksonville.
